Lacto-Fermented Drinks & Beverages Workshop - with Harry Lancaster
The wholefoods movement is all about creating foods that are prepared in such a way that their inherent nutrients are either improved or made more ‘bio-available’ to the body.
An important aspect of this ‘bio-availability’ is eating foods that are alive with beneficial bacteria. Many varied methods of lacto-fermentation have been traditionally practiced in all cultures around the world; these methods help make our food probiotic, creating health and taste benefits.
In this workshop we will explore the following fermentations:
• Water Kefir
• Home brewed Ginger Beer
• Milk Kefir
This class is all about the basics to get you started at home and we will have all the starter cultures and brew kits available for purchase following the workshop.
